Sam grew up in Hilliard, Ohio and is a 2003 Graduate of Hilliard Darby High School.  While there he played soccer, wrestled and ran track.  After high school he went on to play soccer and run track at Heidelberg University, where he graduated in 2008 with a BS in Sports Management. 

Sam returned to the Hilliard area where he decided to coach club and high school soccer.  He holds a National E License, and has been coaching competitive soccer since 2008.  Now in addition to coaching, he is a Director for LFC.
