MSSA DESCRIPTION

Middle School Soccer Association is for male and female participants that are in 7th and 8th grade.  MSSA is an upper recreational program that plays teams from other communities in the Central Ohio area including Dublin, Worthington, Westerville, Pickerington, Johnstown, Jonathan Alder. 

This program will be offered in the Spring only.   Registration will begin in January.  More seasonal details will be forthcoming once they are received from the league.

MSSA teams are coached by parent volunteers. The league has teams for boys and teams for girls. If HOSA has enough registrants a boys team and a girls teams will be formed.  In the event there are not enough players, the HOSA MSSA team may be co-ed.   

There is an end of season tournament.  The tournament lasts 2 weeks starting the Monday after the regular season ends. League determines time and place.  Tournament concludes on Sunday of the second weekend with the championship game in each division.  

Uniform shirts are included.  Players must provide their own shinguards, shorts, socks and size 5 soccer ball.
